The large material variety of our iglide® bar stock guarantees you optimum tribological component properties for every application.
Due to the process, CNC machining produces good surfaces - iglide® components normally do not require any special post-processing for their sliding surfaces either.
You receive dimensionally accurate components with tight tolerances and fits. Narrow tolerance widths (up to tolerance grade 9 in accordance with DIN ISO 286) are usually feasible. Tolerance widths of 0.05mm are therefore no problem.
CNC machining is often the most economical process for two to four-digit quantities, especially for large-volume parts with simple geometries.
Our design guide supports you with the most important principles for designing your CNC components. We give you 12 machined parts examples so that you can achieve a design that is optimized for economy and production.
This guarantees plastic-compatible production and rapid machining of your turned and milled parts.
✓ The general tolerance ISO 2768-m/K applies for plastic-compatible tolerancing with regard to length, shape and position
✓ Deviating from this, the following minimum tolerance widths according to DIN ISO 286 are normally possible:
(Caution: The minimum tolerances that can actually be realized always depend on the specific component geometry, the material selected and the production options available, and may be greater in individual cases)
The abbreviation "CNC" (Computer Numerical Control) refers to turning or milling machines whose movements are computer-controlled in order to produce more complex shapes automatically.
It's simple, fast, and transparent: no more waiting days for a quote—you get the price instantly. If you adjust the material or tolerances, you’ll immediately see how it affects the cost. This means you can make purchasing decisions on the spot.
Our CNC service interface lets you request quotes or place orders anytime. And if you need help, our experts are always available to assist you.
Anyone! We work with companies and individual customers alike.
No, using our CNC service is completely free. Simply upload your components, enter your email address, and you can begin using the tool right away.
At the end, you can choose to request a non-binding quote by clicking the "Request quote" button, and then decide whether you'd like to place an order.
Alternatively, you can order directly online by clicking the "Order directly" button.
Our CNC service is primarily designed for “motion plastics”—plastic components used in moving applications. In this initial phase, we are focusing exclusively on our iglide® tribological materials, known for being self-lubricating, wear-resistant, and low-friction.
